​About the Author​

Emma Grace Gerrard lives in Somerset, where she enjoys curling up at her desk on days off from work and writing (and editing...and editing a bit more) her books while the rain pours down outside. She is the author of The Mirror's Reflection series, a slowly growing series that has now developed into two books in the collection so far. She is currently working on the third book in the series.

Emma has loved creative writing for many years, discovering the wonders of falling into a story that she was able to create. She began writing in her late teens, writing short stories and scripts (all unpublished ones, of course), one of which became the baseline for her debut novel, The Mirror’s Reflection. Emma graduated from The Arts University at Bournemouth with a BA (Hons) First Class Degree in Costume with Performance Design before going on to work in an entertainment wardrobe department in the South West of England.  She has since made numerous costumes for productions, pantomime dames, tribute artists, and even her own book cover.

When Emma is not working or writing, she enjoys spending time with her family, going for walks, drinking tea (Yorkshire tea is her favourite), and eating the cakes her twin sister bakes.
